Re: Moisture in walls?
I remember he was going around the coach and marking different areas with blue tape where it had pulled away and it was most of the top and bottom seam. I didn't exactly see what he was doing but probably pushing to see if there was give in and out. Otherwise my fiberglass waslls were/are smooth. I ...

I see you also posted on the Facebook group but I thought I would reply here. I had an experience similar to Eric Sandstrom was describing. As I understand the fiberglass is connected at the long strip front to back and the top as well as the bottom. On the older Born Free models they didn't use sta...

Re: Rear View Camera options
I was great to hear your update and that the backup camera is working well. Cameras have been on my mind lately. I just replaced my Garmin that had a built in Dash Cam with a new RV Garmin 895. So, I no longer have a dash cam. They have integrated back up cameras you can buy. I am wondering if I cou...

Re: Interstate/Road Weigh stations... how do you know if you should pull in?
That is a great question! I have never stopped since I am not a commercial vehicle even though I am at 14,000 lbs. I found a pretty good blog on it. An it sure sounds like it varies state by state. You can check out the blog and see what you think. I was surprised to see my state MO on there but for...

Re: Walmart Oil Change
I ran into this in Texas awhile back and they started out telling me to buy my own oil. And they just parked it facing into the bay since they couldn't bring it inside due to the height. While I was in the aisle picking out my oil a service agent came found me and said they would provide the oil lik...

Re: Microwave & AC not working
First you probably need to confirm the brand and model of your generator. But a question worth asking is there is a main switch on the generator itself. In my Guardian Generator the switch is to the right of the prime switch. Sometimes when they service the generator they turn that switch off. So co...

Re: Generator compartment
There is a 1991 manual on the Leap'n Lions website that shows a compartment. But it also might have been an option and it not chosen they used a different compartment.

Re: Rear View Camera options
I had to have my camera replaced on my 2004 26RSB. It was done at a service center. He used the power cord from old camera and dropped the cable for the monitor some how down below the chassis and ran it up to the front and came through the engine compartement so he could hook the new cable to my mo...

Re: 2002 24RB
I have a 2004 26RSB but I am guessing our overhead areas are pretty much the same. My coach had the bed in it when I bought it. But I sold the mattress to someone who was converting from a entertainment center to the bed like you want to do. In the process of emailing them I took pics and dimensions...

Welcome to the forum Mike. I had to laugh reading the post about your wife. We tend to "fall in love" with our wonderful Born Free coaches. I sure hope you decide to join the club and come and meet folks at a future rally. We have a national rally every two years and it is in West Virginia...

Re: Ready for Spring? Sanitizing/Disinfecting the Water Tank/Lines
The process I use sounds very similar to what you included. But I do have a regular water heater so I can't answer that question. What is the dilution on bleach you use? I have been using 1/2 cup of household bleach for every 30 gallons of fresh water. I just recently created a tool to allow me to a...
