I would remove the ground wire on the chassis battery and if the lights remain on the power must be coming from the coach batteries. Of course then the question is why and is there a switch somewhere to interrupt that power.

Steve, I replaced both the front and rear bars with the IPD product (now Roadmaster) and was pleased with the improvement. I also installed the Safe-T-Plus steering control unit and Koni shocks. All three together made a noticeable improvement in the ride and handling of our 26RB.

Cathy, my guess is that the system on your coach is from the Air Lift Company. I would suggest you call Kim Olson at Born Free to verify and check if they have replacements in stock and if not does he have the model number of the system installed on your coach. I have called Air Lift in the past and...

Depending on your answer from Velvac I would have the arm cleaned and properly prepared and painted by a professional using the Ford paint code listed on the door sticker (Oxford white). For small road chips I used the Ford Oxford white touch up tubes found in most auto supply stores.

Driving from Rhode Island to Humboldt back in the spring of 2001, a long drive in our Saturn wagon to check out the factory, we had our first contact with John Dodgen. A captivating gentleman that I thought could most likely sell anyone the Brooklyn bridge. After returning to Humboldt in October tha...

Looking back I can understand why the picture is confusing as I had the same thoughts regarding why a dump would be on the curb side. I took the picture with my cell phone out of the rear window of our coach and can only say that it was some sort of round tube the size of a dump hose not a ramp, and...

Overnight etiquette

As dumping your holding tank at Walmart was not on the list https://www.escapees.com/Parking/Docs/b ... letter.pdf I guess this camper thought it OK. Lets hope it was at least only the gray water. As the saying goes "it only takes one bad apple to spoil the barrel".

Although there are several solutions to maintaining the chassis battery the reason I chose the Trik-L-Charge was that it was an install it and forget it operation. This systems works anytime there is 120v power supplied to the coach via hookup or generator.

Dan, I used the Trik-L-Start for many years which kept the chassis battery at the correct float value without any problems.

Regarding awnings, if I were to order a new coach I would definitely want them to be Zip Dee awnings. We have had them on several of our former coaches and I did add one of their window awnings on our 26RB. Another family owned company that makes a superior product, a perfect match for Born Free. Ch...
