Nancy,

I just order one to install my self . Is there any way I could get some pictures of yours mounted on the roof?
I am most interested in where they mounted it and how they leveled it if they did. Is it mounted on the inclined slop where the old one was mounted?
I'm excited to here you like it.

On a recent Alaska trip of 15,000 miles we averaged 10.25. This was not taking it easy either. On interstate we ran the speed limit plus or - 3 to 4 mph. Our coach is a 26'rsb well broken in with 80000 miles. On this trip we were loaded a tad over the coach gross recommend limit which is very easy to...

How long

Well my first motorhome I drove for over 300,000 miles in just over 10years. This was a adventure liner and most people have never hear of them. I replaced the motor 3 times but everything else held up well. This was back in the 70's. I have owned a few in between but now have a 2001 rsb26 with 74,0...

They also do not yet make any plates to help level. They say no more than 3 dregrees slope. Does anyone know what...

One concern for me is the antenna will not be level if I install it in the existing hole.it is on the sloped part of the roof. Not sure about the preformace if unlevel and the wind resistance . :?: :?:

Thanks to everone for the responce. Looks like the old moth ball trick is what most of us do. I apprecate the tips, I'll add a couple of locations to those I have been doing for years. the engine compartment and the gen-set area as well as behind the refrigerator sound like good advice. I'll add tha...

I installed a Toshiba 21" and have taken it all over Alaska (15,000 mi.) and lots more in the lower 48. Have had no problems. This is a plastic backed unit and if you know the roads in Alaska you know thats a lot of rough driving. :D

Thanks for the info. I am making the repairs myself but that would have been good advice on the insurance if I had thought to ask earlier. I could have saved myself a lot of time and work.I have used moth balls as well but never thought to do the generator compartment. Thanks

Generator Problem rats nest

Has anyone had this problem. How can we keep rats out of our born free generator. A rat built a nest in less than 2 weeks that broke my ignition rotor requiring removal of the onan unit and fairly extensive repairs to fix the unit. The unit is stored outside under a shed and this is the first time I...

When I was at the factory this past summer they had a number of the super spring there in their boxs. They were installing them on new coachs as I watched. I was also told they would fit our older coachs as well.
