new generator muffler

My 2001 onan generator needs a new muffler (the tail pipe fell off on my last trip) . Ripped out the side of the muffler as well.Is there anything new and better than the one that came on it to replace it? Also any advice on replacing it. Looks simple enought but you never know. Thanks. :shock:

Thanks for the info and suggestions. I think my mistake was assuming that both banks of batterys were being charged by the power pannel.The trik-l-start does sound like a good solution to the problem. Thanks

Any suggestions to why or what caused my starter battery to go dead when the coach had not been started for about a mo. but was pluged in and has a new smart charge power supply installed. I just purchased some of the nuts and the nut covers from Dicor, Very good to work with and came in a couple of days. However the web site did not work ( would not take a credit card )so I had to order over the phone.The web site did help to get the part numbers . Steve :lol:
