I had a rear separation at 19800 miles 33 months.
Have always had Pressure Pros and no previous incident with the tire.
Surely glad I had a spare tire and able to get a service truck to mount it on a Sunday morning 40 miles south of Montgomery Al.

Excuse my faulty logic. All that is needed is a spare tire w/o rim as I had. Then emergency road service will mount it and I will be out just $50. And less dead weight to carry around.

I am now confused. I did carry an unmounted tire in my storage bay under the sofa and had to have it mounted when the tire lost most of its tread. I thought mounting it on a spare wheel could save $50 or so and the need/logistics of buying a tire on the road if needed. If one wheel is not compatible...

Wheel size

I intend to buy a wheel and tire for a spare for our 2002 26RB on a E450 Ford chassis. Can anybody provide me with the correct definition of the wheel (diameter, rim width, bolt pattern, etc)?

Alabama license renewal

We are planning to move our residence to Alabama. Can anybody who lives in Alabama provide how much it costs to renew license plates yearly on their Born Free? We have most other expenses tied down but can not find a good source to answer this question.

I also think anti-freeze is better. I blew out the lines, waited a week and blew again. Both times only mist came out. I then used anti-freeze and from both faucets almost a cup of water came out before it turned pink. The water may have been in the pump line which probably is not expelled by blowing.

Since only two people out of 431 members responded to my query concerning spare tire carrier, it is safe to say hardly anybody carries a spare tire. Thanks to Hans and Dallas for their responses. That was helpful in my quest.

Spare tire accessory

I am thinking of adding a spare tire accessory to our 2003 26' rear bath. I saw several at the homecoming at Humboldt last year. For those who have this, would you consider it worth it to add to our coach? Have you ever wanted to remove it due to nonuse of the spare?

Another site which I visit often is http://rvparkreviews.com/ which many of you probably use. This site is more useful mainly because of many more reports by users (probably because people park more often than get service). If more people would report on rvservicereviews it could also be much more u...

Finding people to serve as club officers is a problem in every club I have ever been a member of. Especially a club of fewer members.

Tongue in cheek, maybe we should make this club like a BMW motorcycle club I know of in which every member is a president.

We are also Born Free and CC owners. We have a 1999 CC Intrigue. Originally we were going to keep both RVs but have determined the Born Free meets our needs as we are not taking 4 month at a time trips like we used to. We listed the CC on RV Trader Online (also at rock bottom prices) and I tried sel...

Thanks for the reply. It really put my mind at ease. I had thought of starting alternate plans for touring around Iowa while there. -------------------------------------------------------------------- I didn't receive a confirmation from Jill either! So I decided to call her about 2 weeks ago. My un...
