Re: V450 Heating and Cooling
I had a squirrel chew thru the vacuum line (just behind the battery) and was able to fix it with some heat shrink tubing. It cost me under $2.00 and was about $498.00 cheaper than the Ford dealer quoted me. The hardest part was finding where the vacuum line was open. I had the same problem as you. W...

Re: New Winegard antenna
SteveK, you should use dielectric grease in your connections and cover them with a couple of old spark plug boots to keep the moisture out. Check out the info here: http://www.bornfreervclub.org/bulletin_board/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=966 the last couple of pages from the PDF show the splice covered...

Re: Auto leveling memory module
We have an older HWH manual system (300 series) on a 2005 24RB. The leveling module is underneath the coach, I used to spend considerable time trying to adjust it, now I just use a bubble level. I'm attaching a similar photo of what it looks like, ours is rectangular. It is located about in the midd...

Re: WB radio runs down battery
The radio always runs down the battery when stored. I use a simple battery disconnect switch.

Re: How do I cut off hose clamps on water line?
I have found that the toilet flush pedal will sometimes loosen up and cause the linkage to “twist” the valve and apply torque in the wrong direction and then it leaks. The fix is just to tighten up the loose bolts and nuts. It would only leak when flushing so was hard to find.

Velcro straps work much better than the zip ties and are reusable.

OK, we purchased the HWH levelers with the coach in 2005, they only failed once when a switch in the control panel failed, I followed the troubleshooting manual and isolated the problem with a VOM (Volt Ohm Meter), I sent the control panel to HWH and they replaced all the switches for $65.00 and it ...

Lazy Days campground in Tucson,AZ now a KOA
I hope that the new KOA campground does not charge us more fees for the upcoming Born Free Rally Feb 21, 2014. I understand they converted over last week: http://koa.com/campgrounds/tucson-lazydays/
