Judy.... you think that its a risk in putting your Born Free on the Ferry at Port Hardy to Prince Rupert. Then you get off the Ferry and barrel down the highways towards on coming traffic of RV's and eighteen wheelers going 60 plus miles an hour. Now your insurance company is protecting you from a f...

bjepp....And anyone else not understanding our power system and the problem with the 7345 converter, I urge you to read Bill Hemme's last post again. Bill I believe you covered it all, that was the most informative post I've seen on this subject. bcope01....Yes, I too thought the WFCO was the cat's ...

Bill....The WFCO converter your displaying is the same one I was converting to, from the Parallax 7345. The change out was fairly simple and the batteries charged as normal. However with the batteries fully charged and after turning on a few lights, the converter fan kicked in and this was last fall...

Larry....I was thinking about the T-105's and by the specs. I see the T-125 is exactly the same dimensions. Trojan dealer here in SD has the 105 for $80.00 and the 125 for $100.00. And with the six volt Batt it's just three cells in back to water. I currently manage with a rubber squeeze bulb for wa...

Hi Bill...Yes I am aware that the Grp 29 would fit, that would give me more capacity but maybe not any better service as it is still an Interstate. What I was looking for was what batteries and brands other folks used and had good luck with. I also know about the Parallax converter maintaining a 13....

BATTERY REPLACEMENT

My coach came equipped with Interstate Grp 27's. First one died at 10 mo. and was 100% warrantied, now at 21 mo. the 2nd original is going south.

What are you having the best luck with as replacement batteries and what brands? Anyone switched to 2-6 volt golf carts?

Thanks....Jack

Trisa....There is also a stabilizer called "TRU CENTER" mfgd. by Blue Ox of Pender Ne., that manufactures the Blue Ox tow systems.

I had this one installed on our 2005 24RB and noticed the improvement immedietaly, and now wouldn't be without it.

Joe....I've looked again at my Magnetek 7345 and see that it is made in China. And it has the same fuse board that is included in the WFCO 9800 series upgrade kit that is offered on the Best Converters Website. Therefore for me I see no problem switching to a 3-stage WFCO from a China made Magnetek....

Joe....I too am looking at changing out the Magnetek for the WFCO 9800 series and would be interested in others thoughts. Also looking at the 6 volt Trojan 105 or the 125. Anyone have either in their Born Free and how did they fit in the tray. My tray measures 13 x 14-1/4 and the 105 and the 125 bot...

BoB & Kathy... My water heater is located on the passenger side so I opted to use the Hitch Reciever. Had a local Farm Machine Shop fabricate one using 2" tubular steel. It has the tire placed directly over the bumper not protruding behind it, and it does not rest on the bumper itself. It i...

Overnight Parking

I thought there was a group of Born Free owners that had signed up on the Leap'n Lions site to exchange free overnite parking in ones driveway. Question is, do we Born Free owners still have an interest in this and will this new site have a spot for us in the future to invite all who would like to p...
