Cab Radio- Power Source

I believe that I have read where someone wired into the Ford Cab radio with a power source from the Coach batteries. This was to minimize the possibility of running down the starting batteries while "boondocking" and using the radio. I thought this was a good idea, but when I climbed into ...

I drove the route you will be taking ( East to West) with my 26' diesel BornFree. The only thing I did was take it out of overdrive going up the grade and coming down. No problems.

I guess I am not getting the picture. As I read the above coments, this step is to facilitate cleaning of the wineshield. It seems to me that even standing on a step you need something in your hand to clean the windshield. So I guess I will stay with my short telescoping pole that can accommodate a ...

We travel with one cat. Her litter box, food bowl, and water bowl are placed in the shower (we have a 26' RB). When it is time for the cat's servants to bathe we move the items mentioned above to the hall (kitchen area). When we finish we wipe down the shower stall with a towel and replace her highn...

Our former coaach was a 2001 24'RB and the switch was just below the drivers seat. It was visible when you opened the drivers door.

It was the heater core that looks like a small radiator along with the main engine radiator that were replaced. As to the type of antifreeze- I would think that Born Free would not change it just to add a body to the chassis, and I know that I have not changed it-so I must assume it was correct when...

I don't know if there is a corrolation here, but this is what happened to us: While driving through Eastern Nevda into Western Utah we noticed a horrible odor. We had just past a cattle feed yard, so I attributd the odor to it. The odor stayed with us for the next hour or so, and then we pulled into...

We have a 26'RB with one "hospital" type bed and the "cab over" configureation. One point that should be mentioned (about all the storage space gained under the beds) you will not get as much "usable" space as you think. The mechanism that raises and lowers one end of t...

I have the 2720 and miss the "via" capability. So I lie to the unit and tell it I am going to a point that on my older unit would be a "via". When I am at or near this psudo via point I then give it a new point to get me where I want to go. This is a pain and I think we need to t...
