I got the new labels today -two of them actually. One is inside the driver's door and the other inside the gas refill door. Both state that the MAX pressure for the rear tires is 80 PSI. The old labels said 60 PSI, but had already been corrected by Born Free at the factory. Ford apparently wants to ...

After my previous post, I decided to get off my old, lazy (but still loveable  ) rear end. I called and recalled some Ford dealers. One up in the next state ("Live Free or Die" New Hampsire) whom I had called before said he would help me. I drove the RV up there and after much waitin...

I got one of those also. (I've got a 2005 24RB) I just assumed that it was literally a "label" change and didn't get too excited about it. If Ford is talking about a tire change, that's an entirely different story! Be sure to let us know what you find out. I suffer from the problem not bei...

It's my understanding (unverified) that the cylindrical keys for the outside storage compartments are also universal.

I think all the drains have water filled traps. So the vent theory may still hold.

There could be some syphon action, but I think one would hear some bubbling or something.

Bill, I really don't know what the cause of the problem is nor have I ever experienced this problem, but... If the drain plumbing is clear (which it sounds like it may be with your 'roto-roroter' efforts) about the only other thing is vent blockage. If the vent is blocked, you get an upside down bot...

I would call Born Free at their 800 number and talk to Kim in Customer Service. I think you will find him to be VERY helpful. I had a few minor delivery issues when we got our BF last year. The problems were fixed immediately by the factory working in conjuction with the local sales office (Samara R...

Larry, I noticed on my 2005 E450 that the accessories remained powered for X minutes OR until I opened the door after I turned off the ignition and removed the key. (I haven't determined just what X is.) I suppose this is supposed to be a feature, but my first reaction was that it was potentially a ...

Bill (or whoever knows): It's my understanding that, when connected to shore power for long periods, one can prevent the battery overcharging problem by switching the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position. If this is the case, it seems simpler than unplugging from shore power or flipping the...

Sam, After years of analog, film, amateur, snapshot shooting and after years of nagging from my children, I finally have gone modern and ordered a Canon SD 450 Elph from dell.com. I've got some personal reasons for ordering an "ultracompact" and this particular camera may not be for all. I...

Born Free Eggs!

We just bought a dozen eggs that happened to have "Born Free" stamped on the shell! They are of course the finestkind, high quality eggs. You don't suppose John Dodgen is branching out do you? This info is of no use (and probably of no interest) to anyone, but we were amused by the whole t...

Tim and Mia, At the risk of muddying the waters, I think that you have misinterpreted the expanation of what is going on. The converter/charger converts the 120 volt AC shore power (or generator power) into 12 volt DC power. This 12 volt DC power can do two things: Firstly, it can be used to power t...

I really don't know the problem but here are two things you could try: First, make sure you are trying to access http://www.bornfreervclub.org and not the old .COM site. Second, when I first went there my browser was apparently keeping the old page in a cache of some sort. I got the old page until I...

I hadn't changed oil myself for several years until I recently purchased my BF. When it came time for an oil change, the only place I could find near my home with a big enough bay was a certain RV Center (NOT BF!) which was asking ONLY  $110 for an “oil change and lubricationâ€
