Re: Grey water drains to Black water tank! ?
...and so it does. But describes the sources incorrectly. I think the last word should have been "sink" as in most worlds a toilet is the same as a lav. :) "The sanitary holding tank (black waste tank) on rear bath models receives waste from the toilet and the bathroom lavatory."

Re: Grey water drains to Black water tank! ?
Thanks. I was quite surprised as I tried to fill my Grey tank to flush it!

Grey water drains to Black water tank! ?
Discovered this weekend that the bathroom basin drains into the Black water tank on my 14 Triumph. Other drains work as one would expect. Anyone else noticed this?

Internet hook up for Cradlepoint Router
I believe some of the 2014 (and thereabouts) coaches came with a Cradlepoint MBR95 Router hooked up to the the Crestron WiFi controls for the lights, shades, TV etc. Has anyone found a wireless modem that is plug and play with this router. I have not found a way for the Router to "discover"...

Re: Dead truck battery
I agree that your 1.5 amp charger will work while attached to both batteries on the truck. But as one begins to fail, it will inhibit the charge to the other, leaving you with the good battery trying to refloat the bad one until it too is discharged. Over the Winter or several weeks, this will serve...

Re: Dead truck battery
I do not know if this problem was resolved with a charger on the truck batteries. But 2 issues for the lurkers on this forum. I believe you need 2 chargers for the Diesel F550 as there are two batteries and they will not charge in parallel from one charger, especially if its only rated at 2 amps or ...

Re: Inverter not powering 12 volt system
Problem with the Outback turned out to be corrosion of all the innards from water ingestion. The water was coming from the front wheels and is a latent problem I believe for all BF Outback installations.

Re: Outback Inverter Service - all are wrongly mounted
Were BF around, I would be suggesting that as owners we have a claim on them for incorrect mounting. The BF literature says that the Outback is unique because it can be mounted on the exterior of the coach which has numerous advantages blah blah blah. That may be so if its in an enclosed environment...

Re: Outback Inverter Service
I have not opened the converter to establish the coating quality but the design of the interior is such that the units are clearly weather resistant particularly if its just rain/snow etc. But the way its mounted in the BF coach is such that the water jets from the rear of the driver side front whee...

Re: Outback Inverter Service
It turns out that all 3 of my boards were severely corroded. Replacement plus labor plus tax $700. No warranty as this was a 2013 build and a February 2014 install. I believe the BF mounting position is flawed as it is directly in line with the water spray from the front wheels. The AC wiring enters...

Re: Outback Inverter Service
I suspect mine suffered the same way you described. Your remedy is along the lines I was thinking of pursuing so I will do that now. I could not wait for the time it would take to turn/replace the boards and there was nothing in the docs about self diagnosis of which of the 3 failed. I also suspecte...

Re: Outback Inverter Service
I too have been having issues with mu Outback 2012MT leading me to believe its failed. So putting this out there in case anyone has seen similar or the program is helpful. I started with working Mate2, Inverter charging, new batteries fully charged and replaced 90 days previously. Drove through heav...

Re: Inverter not powering 12 volt system
Update: With some valuable help, I removed the Outback today after doing the only check requested by Tech Support: that 12v was being received by the unit - which it was. The first challenge was removing the turbo/fan cover. Its secured with 4 Phillips head bolts, two of which sheared off and one ha...
