New 2010 RSB model

Thanks to the posted pics, I have ordered one!! It will replace my 2006 BFT. The Born Free folks at factory say they are working on putting the new model on the company site but are having some technical problems.

Sofa now sleeps like a real bed!

I never could adapt to sleeping on my sofa (22',2006 BFT) and found the "toppers" did not satisfactorily resolve the "crack" in the sofa. So, I discovered that a "3/4" mattress fits perfectly on the opened sofa. Also, it's easy to make up the bed with the passenger seat...

On another coach I own, (NOT my Born Free), the manufacturer offered to remove and reinstall all the sagging ceiling material, however, I didn't want to spend the two/three days at their service facility, so, as an alternative, they installed what I call "rosettes" (someone else may have r...

That's correct Robert, the Fianna box awning bolts through the side wall. I just had one put on another coach I own, a class A. These awnings are so much simplier to operate, especially if you travel alone and don't have someone standing by to hand you the tool AFTER you have started rolling up the ...

Awnings on Born Free

I am about to have a Fianna (box style) patio awning installed on my Born Free For Two and a window awning on the other side of the coach. Is there anything special I should share with the RV tech before he begins the installation? Also, does anyone have any experience installing an awning over the ...

HI, I have my Born Free in the shop to begin systematically trying the fixes you all have gratiously recommended. With the summer rain storms (and hurricanes!) coming it will be easy to determine if I am successful in solving this leak. Thank you all ! Charles

Thanks for the responses. When I said "roof vent", I should have clarified "refrigerator roof vent". This is also where the antenna wire enters the coach. Could blowing rain enter this refrigerator roof vent and exit into the coach at the bottom of the fridge? Thanks again!!! Cha...

Water leak under fridge.

This is my first post so I'm not sure if I know what I'm doing. I have water coming into my 2006 22' Born Free from under the fridge during hard rains. I thought it was coming through the grill behind the fridge (outside the coach) and I had my local RV dealer add an additional seal around the vent ...
