Post subject:  Club Membership Application/Renewal Information

As of December 8, 2017 our club has started a 2nd class of membership called Alumni Membership. This membership is open to past owner members of the Born Free Leap' Lions RV Club and were a club member for a minimum of at least 5 years and want to become a member of the club again. Instructions for initially applying for or renewing membership in these two different classes of membership are detailed below.

REGULAR MEMBERSHIP

As a current owner of a Born Free motorcoach, you can join the Born Free Leap'n Lions RV Club as a new member or renew an existing membership.

There are 3 different methods of filling out the Membership Application & Renewal Form and submitting payment to our club's secretary/treasurer. The 1st two methods allow you to fill out the form online and then download it to your computer. The 3rd method allows you to download the blank Membership Application & Renewal Form and fill out the blanks using your handwriting. One of the 1st two methods is preferred since it eliminates the problem of reading less than clear hand writing.

To start, Step 1: please download the printable Membership Application & Renewal Form by clicking on the blue Membership Application & Renewal Form Rev R.pdf button located in the attachment window at the bottom of this post. This is a 2-page document with the 1st page being the form itself and the 2nd page containing instructions on completing the form properly.

Method 1: The first way is that the 1st page of the form can be filled out online - you click on the beginning of each of the blank fields and type in the information from your computer keyboard. You then use the 'Save As' feature under the File Tab at the top of the form to save the filled-in form to a convenient location on you computer - best probably just to save it on your computer's desktop. You should then email the saved form as an attachment to our club's secretary/treasurer Jerry Fay at his email address listed on the form. You can also print from this saved copy for your records if you desire to do so. This choice allows you to pay the appropriate fee via PayPal by clicking on the Buy Now button at the bottom of this post.

Method 2: A second way is that the 1st page of the form can be filled out online - you click on the beginning of each of the blank fields and type in the information from you computer keyboard and then print out two copies, one to keep for your records and the other to mail along with appropriate payment to our club's secretary/treasurer Jerry Fay at his email address listed on the form. Make check payable to: Born Free Leap'n Lions RV Club.

Method 3: A third way is to print out two copies of the form without filling it it online and hand write to fill in the blank fields. Keep one copy for your records and mail the other copy to our club's secretary/treasurer Jerry Fay at his mail address listed on the form along with the appropriate payment payable to: Born Free Leap'n Lions RV Club

Step 2: Either of the 3 methods you choose, fill out the form completely. Membership mailings will be sent to the first e-mail address listed on the application form; members without e-mail addresses will receive mailings via regular mail.

Initial Membership Dues: $15.00

Note: Persons mailing in initial membership dues during the last three months of the calendar year will be credited a full year's membership thru the following calendar year.

Renewal Dues: $15.00 due January 1st each subsequent year. Members can renew for up to three years if they so choose.

Then click on the Club Info and or Club History buttons for that info. There is no charge for registering to use our forum. Please read the information above about submitting an application. PayPal is only for members and alumni members who wish to join or renew their membership in the Born Free Leap'n Lions RV Club. Please note that a new membership paid through a PayPal payment cannot be processed until the Secretary/Treasurer receives a completed Application form which is available on this page below the PayPal button. Preferably email the form to the Secretary/Treasurer as noted on the Application form. Please save the application to your device and double check it to ensure that has saved with your completed data. We receive many blank applications by email. If you are mailing the Application form by regular mail, please send an email to the club Secretary/Treasurer at the email on the application informing him that it is being mailed. Please add the Secretary/Treasurer’s email address to your list of acceptable emails or check your spam folder regularly. The Secretary/Treasurer will try to contact you by email about incomplete applications before refunding your payment. An Application form is also requested from renewing members using PayPal but at a minimum ensure you inform the Secretary/Treasurer of any changes to your membership record or that there are no changes by email.
