Announcing a new "Club-only" Caravan to Alaska and Western Canada in 2020!

Since we noticed a large number of requests (on our recent club survey) for caravans to Alaska and Canada, we have arranged for Adventure Treks to provide a club-only 60-day caravan to Alaska and western Canada in 2020. Adventure Treks is a small caravan company that has been around since 2001. Several of our members have attended their caravans in the past and given them high marks.

This adventure is a once-in-a-lifetime, club-only, fully planned (with a lot of free time), 60-Day, 4800-mile caravan with over 90 fun-filled, interesting, entertaining, and educational activities. You will be immersed in the scenery, wildlife, history, and culture of Alaska, the Yukon, and British Columbia. You will remember it forever!

It starts at Dawson Creek, British Columbia where you will head north up the incredibly scenic Alaska Highway and beyond through British Columbia and the Yukon. Then you will loop through Alaska, go over the panoramic Top of the World Highway through the Yukon and ends at Prince George, British Columbia. Along this route, there will be many interesting and unique villages, towns, cities, and sites all as shown on the Route Map and Itinerary.

As you travel through this vast land in your RV, or on one of your scheduled tour boats, buses, trains or trolleys; you will experience the stunning natural beauty of lush meadows and marshes, dense forests, winding rivers, enormous snow-capped mountains, massive slow-moving glaciers, and pristine lakes. You will also visit many fine museums and historic quaint towns with their vintage stores and charming shops.

Additionally, you will see the amazing land, marine, and airborne wildlife that inhabit this last frontier. There will be free-roaming bears (grizzly and black), wood bison, caribou, bald eagles, falcons, geese, foxes, mountain goats, harbor seals, moose, puffins, stone sheep, sea lions, sea otters, whales (humpback and killer), wolves and a whole lot more.

Along the way you will develop great friendships, enjoy good meals together, relax at Liard Hot Springs, cross the Continental Divide, visit the historic Sign Post Village, visit a winery, view an authentic sled dog team demonstration, enjoy wildlife spotting/glacier viewing boat cruises, take a cruise on the Chena River, walk through a Native Village, view the Alyeska Pipeline, pan for gold, drive on the picturesque Top of the World Highway, ferry your RV across the Yukon River, visit Dawson City (epicenter of the gold rush in 1898), enjoy train excursions, attend several period oriented hilarious stage shows and so much more. There are over 90 organized events including 5 dinners, cruises on Prince William Sound, the Yukon River and the Kenai Fjords National Park, an all-day bus tour into Denali National Park, and a breathtaking train ride on the White Pass & Yukon Route Railway.

Just to mention one of the amazing activities: The train ride on the White Pass & Yukon Route Railway will take you from Whitehorse to Skagway over the summit of White Pass a 2,865-foot elevation! This fully narrated tour features 2 tunnels, sky-high tressels, cascading waterfalls, historic sites, and spectacular scenery. You will ride in comfortable restored and replica coaches pulled by vintage locomotives This train ride is expressed by some as the best train ride in the world.

This caravan will be a great chance to fulfill your bucket list item of seeing the magnificence and wonder of wild Alaska and the rugged western Canadian landscape. You will not be disappointed!

Cost: $9,095 per couple in one RV, $8,095 per single person in one RV, $3,895 per extra person. A recent search of other providers of such trips indicates Adventure Treks offers more personalized service and more favorable pricing.

All money paid will be refunded if 60 days cancellation notice is given prior to departure.

A Trip Preparation Guide will be mailed to your home 60 days prior to departure

(Due to a large number of requests for this type of caravan on our recent club survey we expect it to fill up quickly so if you want to go, please sign-up early. (Note: This caravan is limited to 15 coaches with an 11 coach minimum)
