This is a post-Katrina upscale RV "resort" in the French Quarter.

Although pricey, it is a great urban camping experience. Just off I-10 and easy to get in and out with your RV, this is a good choice if you do not tow or have dogs (as we do) and want to be close-by. It is about a 6 block walk through the French Quarter to Decatur St. and the Mississippi River. I personally would not walk this at night, though. Take a cab. The staff is friendly and helpful, it has 24/7 security and everything about the sites (full hookups) are new and well maintained.
