Dates: June 8-11, 2022

Location: Elkhart County 4-H Fairgrounds in Goshen, IN

Hosts: Nick and Dee Dee McClain; Ron and Mary Bash

Come join us in northeastern Indiana for 4 days of fun, fellowship and good times at the Elkhart County 4-H Fairgrounds in Goshen, Indiana.

Goshen, platted in 1831 and settled by pioneers moving west from New England, is now known as a major recreational vehicle manufacturing center and the Maple City because of its many Maple trees. Goshen has a large Amish and Mennonite population and is home to artists, antique shops, specialty shops, and cafes. It is within a 30 minute (or less) drive of other Amish attraction-rich towns such as Elkhart, Nappanee and Shipshewana.

Goshen is also the home to one of the beautiful Garden Quilts located along the Heritage Trail. This 90-mile loop trail includes 16 Garden Quilts and 23 hand-painted Quilt Murals and is the crown jewel of Indiana’s Amish country. Additionally, this trail is listed among the most scenic drives by editors of Life Magazine. This late spring rally will be a great opportunity to visit this area in Indiana with its mostly rural farmland and some rolling hills when young green corn and soybean plants on Indiana farms are just getting started and the ripe red strawberries are ready to pick.

For this rally, we are taking a page from Eric Sandstrom’s rally playbook and will piggyback on the Great Lakes Area FMCA Rally (being held simultaneously) and enjoy their many planned activities. In addition to all the good things the FMCA rally will have to offer, we will also hold some Club-only activities at our campsite including a delicious potluck dinner on the first evening plus some surprises for a small fee to be paid on location. While all the details are yet to be worked out, the initial plans for this rally include:
  • 3 nights of entertainment
  • Morning coffee and donuts
  • An ice cream social
  • Ladies Tea
  • Several seminars
  • Some tours
  • A sausage/pancake breakfast
  • And more

As rally details become available, they will be posted along with the Registration Form.

There is no requirement to be an FMCA member to attend this rally.
