Outside of Apalachicola FL had the alternator fail in my 2004 26RSB with Cummins Diesel.
Sunday afternoon in Panacea FL! Made contact with Coach-Net and they were online to help us Monday morning. In the meantime my wife had posted our difficulties to Facebook and within minutes a friend in Shanghai, China had informed us his parents lived in town. Small world what? 2 minutes later they called us. Found out they knew the local shop that worked on the all the surrounding towns Ambulance and School buses.

Callaway Auto & Truck Repair
1502 Shadeville Rd
Crawfordville, FL 32327
(850) 926-1039

Contacted their answering machine and after explaining our predicament to the local sheriff called it a night.
The next morning Callaway called, gave us directions and we limped in on battery power.
6 hours later with parts from the Tallahassee Ford dealer we were on our way home.
Classic Southern Garage, clean enough to be efficient and highly knowledgeable mechanics.
Unbelievable fair price, 30% less than quoted by Ford Dealer, and no tow!

I didn't know that Ford used the "Cummins diesel" engine??
Did you have it installed, or did you buy it with the Cummins in it?
It looks like a enthusiastic aftermarket modification
that I'm keeping in my future file.
