92 Cab A/C
I have a 93 E-150 Van and it uses Freon R12. There is a sticker on the radiator support the tells the type and amount of refrigerant required. If the system has been changed to 134R the mechanic is required to label it as converted to 134R. Another way to tell if it has been converted is to see if the charge valve connections have adapters on them. Hope this will help you determine which your BF has.
