Actually, specifically, it is a valve question. In trying to drain my fresh water tanks, I stripped the black valve handle that opens up the valve. I was able to remove the handle and 'steal' it from another valve and drain the tank.

Since these are made of plastic and not very strong, has anyone upgraded to a handle made from metal or stronger plastic? I have no plumbing knowledge and rather not have to change out the whole valve assembly.
