Have a new ( May 2009 ) 32' foot on Kodiak chassis. Just noticed this on the front of the overhead. Its a perfect circle about 1" diameter. Feels rough and minimally depressed. Never noticed it before but may have missed it. See attachment. It's in the center front.

Can you take another picture a little further back so as to give better orientation on the vehicle. Don't know if that will help or not, but might...

We're anxiously awaiting delivery of the used 2006 32 RQ we just purchased (being transported from Florida to Iowa sometime soon we hope).

When we take delivery, I'll look closely to see if ours has the hole as well.

I'd love to read any general observations on your experience with the 32' so far - Especially if you've previously owned a BF.

We're on our 3rd coach and the only apprehension we had with this purchase was the Kodiak chassis.

Spoke to Kim at Born Free. He thought it was residual of a round sticker that they put on when they mark an area that needs additional sanding etc. I tried to wipe the area with an alcohol swab and it is looking better . May just be left over glue. Will keep working it. In regards to the Kodiak, so far we are very happy with it.

Pros:
1. Plenty of room and large cargo carrying capacity
2. Very powerful gas engine and wonderful Alison transmission
3. Handles well because of the short turning radius
4. Roomy in front for driver and passenger with great visability
5. High ceiling makes it feel more spacious.
6. Born Free quality and service
7. Love the incline twin beds
8. 50 amp service

Cons:
1. GM no longer makes Kodiak chassis. Probably will not be a major problems since components, engine and transmission are widely used elsewhere.
2. Tire noise is very loud. Plan to use ear plugs on long trips to make it less fatiguing. They are Michelens with M&S treads on the duals.
3. Would like to have ducted air conditioning
4. Would also like to have a power driver's seat.
Overall happy with purchase and would do it again. We're taking our first long trip in a few weeks. Will let you know if our opinion changes.

Glad you figured it out, and thanks for the thoughts on the 32 ft.

We went to the Iowa RV show and spent quite a bit of time in the 32RQ with slides and the 28 RSB WB.

The extra ceiling height and body width definitely give you the feeling that the inside is much larger than our current RSB. Overall it just felt very open. It also seems to be much more storage in the 32RQ than my RSB.

We take delivery of a 2006 32RQ next week, so we'll know more once we load it with our gear and have our first trip.

If it really is glue residue, go to Ace Hardware and purchase a bottle of "Goo Gone". It will remove that glue very easily.

Thanks for the replies. Good luck Matthew with your new RV. I highly recommend getting it weighed at all four corners. Ours and our previous Born Free were both much heavier on the driver's side in the rear even with the water tank only 1/3 full. Plenty of capacity for heavy items on the passenger side both front and back.
