Good Sam Rally in Phoenix

Also on my way to The Rally . These are really well-done events (my 5th) , with seminars, many new RVs on display , vendors with all sorts of RV must-haves , plus great entertainment. Bill Cosby and Martina McBride are headliners at this Rally. The Affinity co. (Good Sam, Camping World, etc.) is doing 3 national Rallys around the country this year ,so see the website or Highways magazine for info. Glad to hear that Born Free will be there too.

We'll be there in our "new to us" BFT. Since we live in Mesa, AZ, the trip will be a short one. Also glad to hear Born Free will be there, and looking forward to our first Good Sam rally.

A small group of us are going on Thursday. We all live close to the rally area, so we are only going for the day.

My wife and I attended the rally yesterday. Visited the BF display and wanted to share with the Club how much we enjoyed talking with Ed and viewing the 25RB (with a slide). The 27RSB was worth seeing also.

Living on the West Coast (Arizona and California) we don't get an opportunity to see new models in person very often so we were really looking forward to this.

Let me say that the 25RB was even better than we had hoped. The floorplan changes 1. Moving the entrance door towards the middle of the coach. 2. Bathroom changes. 3. The living room with the slide gives such a feeling of openness. 4. The large screen TV in a new location. If we could afford to we would order one right now. Lots of RV's had slides now days but the planning and effort that went into this is far superior. Ed tells me that the E450 chassis is on a longer wheelbase and little or no weight increase was caused by the slide and sofa.

I probably sould like a Salesman. Not my intension. Just wanted to share our experience.
