Connecting TV cable to outside shower connection

Post by Rob »

After spending several years complaining to myself about the awkwardness of attaching to this
connection thought I would ask for suggestions from this valuable source.

I still use the cable connection where it is , however I ran
a separate cable for satellite that could be used for cable TV .
I mounted it by the dump valves and ran it under the coach ,
and up along the fridge to it's own jack .

We use a right angle RF coaxial quick connection on each end of the cable. Straight quick connections are also available. You can purchase the connections at the hardware store. This link shows a sample connection. Use of the quick connection does not impact the picture quality.

I have used the push on 90 degree connector posted by Ben for years in my BFT, and they work beautifully. I even use push on connectors (right angle and straight) throughout my house for ease of hooking up my TVs. Here are several right angle connectors for sale on eBay in differing package quanities: http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odkw=ri ... r&_sacat=0
