Have you seen this!

Post by Tahoe »

OMG, I knew these existed but never saw one. I'm interested because there is a 50% chance we are moving to Hawaii for work relocation and our 24RB would have to be sold, but this could work (maybe) in HI, but maybe not. Anyway, enjoy!

I've seen several of these... most recently last summer in Algona, IA parked in a parking lot at the intersection of Hwys 18 and 69. I had to stop and get a photo of it with my 32RQ.

I agree it is a money pit. I sent the seller a message and from his response I think he's trying to flip it fast. Tires are from 1991, etc. I still thought it was unique since I've never even seen a recent picture of one and never seen one in person.

Going through early withdrawl with the prospect of selling our 24RB. Will know by the end of March if we're moving to HI. Love to take it if we could, but it would be a waste of time and money to take it. The trade off is a positive one however.

I haven't laughed so hard in a long time! Can someone please photos shop a born free decal on the side!? Think of the possibilities, whale watch tours, deep sea fishing, snorkel trips, ...

Boy, I dunno Bill... that thing's got a LOT of freeboard! Unless that thing's got water-tight hatches, I'd hate to be in the water in heavy weather with it.

It sure is interesting tho...

It sold this afternoon for $8652.99. That's not bad value retention considering it's a forty year old truck and camper! I'll bet that was pretty close to the list price for it in 1976.
