Carpeted wall issue

Today we have finally solved the issue with the dark areas on our carpeted walls. I have tried numerous things with no luck. Curt had to run the cord behind the carpeted walls and said the dark area is really fine dirt so I took the shop vac and vacuumed the heck out of one area. It made the area lighter so then I took a solution of very diluted carpet cleaner and water and sprayed it on and worked it through with my fingers then revacuumed the area. As you can see in the picture my dark spots have finally met their match. It's the little things in life
