Born Free factory closed until further notice

We were scheduled to have some work done at the factory on June 12. We got a voice message this morning from Kim Olson, as well as an email. The text of the email is shown below:

Hi Joe & Lucinda, I left you a voice mail this morning although I wanted to confirm with an e-mail before I left , we have all been laid off temporarily and I cancelled your appointment for June 12, 2017. If something changes I will contact you to reschedule your appointment for a later date.

In his voice message he said he did not know when the situation will be cleared up.

UPDATE: I tried the main Born Free number about 2:10 PM EDT and got a recording saying that Born Free is closed from May 15 to May 19.

My dealer just called and said they never got my chassis in and could not understand why. He talked to them and they are closed. Sales manager left and I wonder if Ed saw the writing on the wall.

We purchased our 2004 Born Free Casual Elegance in August of last year and brought it to Born Free in Sept for some routine maint. This gave us a chance to meet some very special people. We can only hope that this will be just a short term situation for them and they can be back to work soon. They represent the soul of every Born Free on the road.
