Born Free spotted in the wild

Post by BornFree_n_Now »

Earlier today (10-01-06), while on a jet boat ride up the Rogue River out of Gold Beach Oregon, we passed the 4 Seasons RV Resort and, from the river, saw the first other Born Free we have ever seen camping in the 3 plus years we have owned our coach ~~ If the owners of this coach are reading this forum, hello :)

That's very surprising. We've seen several other Born Frees . . . not counting rallies . . . during the years we owned our Born Free. We always took the opportunities to talk with the owners, but none were members of Leap'n Lions. Here in New Mexico, we've seen lots of Born Frees on the highways, and we always flash our headlights and wave.

Guess we have just been unlucky, and/or not been on the road enough, are trying to correct the latter ~~ :D

We may have seen other Born Frees because there are many RVers that travel through New Mexico. It's always fun to see a Born Free, because it's such a unique, aerodynamic and stylish coach.

And we need to get out on the road more often, as well. Because of circumstances beyond our control, we haven't taken any MH vacations since May.

Saw two Born Frees in the Dental/Carver Hawkeye tailgate lot last weekend, plus our own in the Hawkeye commuter tailgate lot for the Wisconsin/Iowa game

Since we left Humboldt nearly 2 years and 14000+ miles ago we have not seen another Born Free in the wild - until last Thursday (Mar 8th) that is. Just in case that was you towing the trailer on Hwy 97 near the Oregon border we were too shocked to wave. Howdy :!:

Unfortunately, not us :( We did, however, buy property in Oregon when we were up last fall, and hopefully, will be starting construction next year ~~
