Born Free Spare Parts

Post by bornnorm »

Sometimes when a company fails some one will buy the parts inventory and become a parts supplier. Did this happen with Born Free?

Not exactly, no. As I understand it, the "new" Chinook bought the tools from the Born Free factory, but as far as I know, they're only doing B-vans right now. Any good fiberglass shop ought to be able to do any repairs or fabrication you need on the body of your coach though.

And of course, Ford is the go-to for most of the chassis (with the exception of the few Chevy's like mine) and everything else in the coach is off-the-shelf from Dometic, Flexsteel, and other manufacturers.
