Mold or mildew remedy

Post by Camps »

We purchased a 1998 President from a party in Oregon and when we picked it up (flew from Wyoming) it had a horrible moldy mildew smell. I thought since we flew to pick it up I would just have the carpets cleaned and that would get rid of it. Well its really bad still. HELP!! The motorhome was originally from florida...

If the mold is really bad, I recommend you consider a professional to repair the mold. I would assume that the mold resulted from a water leak. If so you probably also have rotted wood flooring and/or sidewalks in the area of the leak. This could turn out to be an expensive issue to completely repair.

Mold remediation comes in different forms and flavors depending on where it is and what kind it is.

The first thing you need to do is to figure out where it is and what kind it is. Once you've located where and what it is, you can decide what measures to take to remediate it.
