I believe some of the 2014 (and thereabouts) coaches came with a Cradlepoint MBR95 Router hooked up to the the Crestron WiFi controls for the lights, shades, TV etc. Has anyone found a wireless modem that is plug and play with this router. I have not found a way for the Router to "discover" a hot spot and use the phone as its modem; and the online manual is specific in its need for a modem which implies that there is no screen settings or App that allows the recognition of an SSID?

You need to use repeater mode. You can find how to do that on page 135 of the manual: https://cradlepoint.com/sites/default/f ... manual.pdf
It's called Wi-Fi as Data Source or Wi-Fi as WAN on your particular router.
