Michelin Defender - Any feedback?

Post by Brent »

Has anyone had any experience with the Michelin Defender (light truck tire). If so - what is your coach size?

I've had three sets of the LTX MS and MS2, on a 23 RK with good success, but they've discontinued the tire after the recall. The Defender is the tire taking it's place - Consumer Reports gives it high marks.
Thanks

Yes I too had ran the same tire as you and put on the new Defender about a year ago and have found them to be as good as the old tires they replaced. 2001 26rsb

I have been shopping a bit for tires and someone told me another option to consider was the Michelin Agilis Crossclimate. Any knowledge on those tires vs the defender?

Just put on a set of the Defenders yesterday - the installation process was a headache but that's on the installer not the product. I kept the Borg valve extenders - just replaced the rubber parts. After some highway test runs - very quiet tire. No vibration or sway.
