Due to health issues we are going to have to sell our Born Free. I am wondering where the best place would be to advertise? Obviously I will place an ad. on this web site but where else would you suggest that will give me the minimum of scammers? Any advice would be much appreciated.

My experience with Craigslist was terrible. I listed a car for sale and all I got were scammers or lowball offers. One offered to buy my car at my asking price site unseen if I provided my banking info. He had a convincing story to string me along. I guess there are some people he can fool in spite of the obvious. I did not sell my car after a couple of weeks so I took down my add. I suppose that a legitimate buyer might have eventually responded.

I have never used them but options might be RVTRADERS.com, RVUSA.com and RVT.com. I was watching those site when I was trying to buy my BF.

Also you might ask around for a RV Dealer consignment lot in your area.
Might be worth to pay a few extra bucks to have someone else do all the work.
If I was going to sell my BF, I would check on this option first and the costs.

Anybody have any idea how much a typical consignment lot will charge? :D

IT might be easier to consign it at Motorhomes of Texas. I have sold two coaches thru them. they used to be a BF dealer for a few months and I ordered mine thru them. FYI Foretravel factory is across the street and there are a number of RV dealers in the town of Nacogdoches. They sell lots of coaches a month.

Thank you for the suggestions. Consignment dealers tend to charge a lot so I will go to RV Traders first and check what Motorhomes (Texas) might charge.

Thanks again.
