Diesel rear axle gas tank

Hello, I have two questions. Does the 1999 24' RB diesel E450 come with a 55 gallon gas tank? Second question, has anyone had trouble with the diesel gas tank peeling off its lamination? I heard that the 1999-2010 rear axle ford E450 peeled. Can anyone verify? I have no problems right now.

The Ford E450 was equipped standard with a 55 gallon fuel tank whereas the E350 was equipped with a 38 gallon tank. I guess I don't understand your question about a lamination on the diesel fuel tank. My 2000 year E450 with V10 gas and 55 gallon tank has nothing laminated on it.
