Low voltage and steps

Post by John S. »

Well I had just replaced my motor for my steps this spring. I took a trip in sept to visit family and ho to hwh in Iowa and on the return my batteries failed. Had been working fine but one of them died and I found out when I went to open the door and no step came out that I made a mistake. The low voltage left killed the motor. It is a common issue I was told. I replaced the batteries and also had to had to replace the motor. I also had a loose ground wire as well from rough roads so check your grounds is now on my list.
