Update Flooring

Hello, have read the flooring posts. We are interested in replacing the salon carpet with hardwood floor type look. This means having to lay it all the way to the back and bathroom. We have a Kodiak 28’ RSB. First guy that just looked at the job says can not see where he could make it work because of stairs. Just would not look right. Says to just replace the carpet. This guy replaces flooring full time in Coaches. Seems odd he would say just to replace the carpet.
1. Do any of you have experience with this and do you recommend we replace carpet with vinyl flooring?
2. What product would you recommend?
3. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
