No power after installing batteries

Post by Cmcgill »

I just reinstalled my house batteries from the camper being in storage all winter. Now I have absolutely no power going to anything. Not even when I plug the camper to shore power. My generator has now power to turn over. Is there a main power switch or circuit breaker that may have blown or tripped? The main power switch next to the entry door is turned on. I have a 2005 BF30RSBC/O. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well first you say that you have no power going to anything even when connected to shore line power. Then you say that your generator has now power to crank. Well in order to crank your generator you must be getting dc power from either your reinstalled batteries or from shore line power. If you can crank your generator you must have dc power to power up the rest of your dc operated appliances such as your internal lighting. Something does not make sense.

Sorry. I meant to say that there is no power to the generator. 12v power to start the generator. I did find 3 circuit breakers or relays. Underneath the camper near the battery box. Found the main switch line doesn’t have power coming out of the breaker / relay and am thinking this is my problem.

OK proper wording means everything. Are you sure that you did not reinstall your batteries reversed polarity - even momentarily?
