Side window Maxx Air Vent

Post by troutman1971 »

My Maxx Air vents have seen better days. The rubber seals are deteriorated. Has anyone removed these? Any regrets to not having them on your coach? I know they are no longer available to purchase.
Thoughts?

Well those Maxx Air window vents allow your two side windows to be open about 6” when raining - won’t allow rain to get inside.

I really liked mine. Occasionally one has appeared on eBay. I bid on one that eventually sold for $95.

I have removed mine several times to thoroughly clean it ( I have only one now) on the underside and the surrounding window and body area. Be careful as the plastic becomes fragile. Otherwise no problems.

Another thing I like about mine, you can keep the window open "all the time". I have a stick in the window tract that limits how far the sliding window can open. Don't have to worry about anybody breaking in.
