You can edit posts that you have posted yourself. You can delete posts that you have posted yourself
but only if no one has posted a reply to your post. This restriction is there because it does not make any sense to leave replies posted if the author deletes his original topic post. Those original topic posts and associated reply posts will need to be deleted by the website administrator. So, if this situation applies in your case, please send the website administrator an email to
bfadmin@bornfreervclub.org requesting that both your original post and all associated reply posts be deleted.
Please identify the Subject name of your post so that website administrator knows exactly what you want deleted.
If your original topic post has not had any replies, then you can delete your post by doing the following: First login with your chosen Username and Password. Then locate your post of interest. The fact that you have logged in will cause both a blue
edit button and a blue
X button to appear in the upper right corner of you posting window. See the example posting window shown below. Click on this edit button if you want to edit your post. Click on the X button if you want to delete your post.
In general, editing a post to correct it is to be preferred rather than posting another subsequent message with the corrections and/or revisions.
If you want to edit your post, just change the text to what you want. You can also add and/or delete attached photos and pdf files if you want to. When done, just click the
Submit button at the bottom of the posting window.
If you click on the
X button to delete your post, complete the deletion process by then clicking the
Submit button at the bottom of the posting window.
