Onan Emerald Plus genset no altitude adjust

Closer inspection of our Onan model:4BGEFA26101P Serial #:E010237767 carb shows no altiitude adjustment knob on bottom of bowl. How can this be ? Was it twisted off by previous owner, or carb was rebuilt without it, or special case genset from Onan. The altitude markings are clearly on the bowl. The nut on the bottom appears to hold the bowl to the carb. There is no hidden main mixture screw on the bottom of the bowl.

Any ideas, opinions what is going on here ?
