How to carry lawn chairs?

How to carry lawn chairs?
I generally hate lawn chairs except when I get to sit in one around a campfire. Looking for a good idea on how to carry them while traveling. I see them tied to the roof ladder which makes the RV look like a traveling circus wagon. The so-called roof luggage rack? Getting them up & down looks easy - not! Something simple and inexpensive would be great. Anybody?

My chairs reside in the shower stall when I travel.

Good Topic.
We carry 2 of the "roll up folding" chairs and carry them under the couch.
Like these..http://www.walmart.com/ip/DNP-Legal-Iss ... r/23864494
But I have been wanting to upgrade and finding a more comfortable folding chair,
so this is a good topic.
And I have been wondering the same thing of where to carry?

I carry 4 foldup lawn chairs in the compartment under the rear bad in my 2002 BF 26' RSB coach. They fit thru the access door located in the right side rear corner of the coach. The chairs I have are made by Zip Dee and look like the one in the photo below.

We carry two folding chairs (with pop-up side tables) on our ladder. We use a carrier from CW and bungees. These chairs are plain and a bit smaller than lawn chairs, so they look OK to us.
Comfortable too, complete with a place for a drink!

Like Daryl and Mary, we carry our Costco-purchased folding chairs on a Camping World-purchased ladder carrier. Don't understand the "traveling circus" comment, as many folks carry their folding chairs this way, and besides I only have to carry them from one camp ground to the next before they are placed in use.

I can't comment on the carrying of chairs yet since I'm still in search of my BF, but I can endorse the Strong Back brand folding chairs and some of the most comfortable I've camped with.

The Strongback chairs are awesome. Expensive but for those of us that need lower back support, they are well worth the money. They're $90 at LLBean with free shipping, or if you have Amazon Prime, they're $85 and free shipping.
Re: How to carry lawn chairs?
Forgot to mention, we carry our chairs in the overhead bed area. We don't use it for sleeping but for storage. We took out the bed and had a wooden frame built to hold things in place. There's a TON of storage up there if you don't need it for a bed. I realize it's not an option for a lot of people. I like the shower idea, too.

They go back in their bags and under the jack knife sofa through the outside storage door.
