Living in Alabama I thank God he was not from this state. We get more than enough bad publicity as it is. I am originally from Louisiana, a state I love for its uniqueness even though it is often referred to as the northernmost banana republic for its corrupt government.

That's not a fair comment. Just because one person got all the negative attention (and rightfully so) should not stop anyone from visiting our fine state. Mr. Baillio submits a lot of jokes. Was this one also?

Well I agree it is not a fair comment. Just a tongue in cheek remark to make a play on words since we all love our BF LIONS. I hope it goes without saying I understand the lion killer is not representative of MN as a whole. Please keep that in mind as you read about the goofy things that happen in the South.

I think some are making a judgement without all of the facts out yet. The Minnesota dentist may have paid his outfitter and guides for a legal hunt and of course they want to deliver the desired opportunity for the hunt to be a success for the money they got paid. Who actually may have violated any laws has not been determined yet.
