New 2017 Sprinter Born Free discounted $48k

Post by stevek »

Seems to be a heck of a deal.
So far we do not have an active member of our Forum that owns the new BF Sprinter??
The only bad thing about buying a new BF is the Factory Warranty,
which may not exist with the future of the factory up in the air.
With such a LARGE discount, kinda makes you wonder about the "markup"? :D
Wonder if we will see more large discounts on other new BFs?

I know that dealer and the bank is making them reduce the price as BF is closed. Floor plan is the lifeblood of dealerships.

That floorplan may be hard to sell. Of all the 24' brands using a Sprinter Chassis, Winnebago etc. the lack of a made up bed is a problem. Every night you must unfold the couch, make the bed and reverse it in the AM.

I agree. Bed is a pain.
Plus no OH Bed.
Born Free should offer a OH bed like Winnebago in a sprinter.
I hope Born Free comes back and does not close for good.

Talking about closing for good, I see Chinook is back.
BUT maybe in name only. :?
I see lots of the older Chinook Motorhomes here on the west coast.

I purchased the 24FL from Motorhomes of Texas. So far it's good. We are down sizing. The manufacturing quality is very good.

Congrats.
I would say you got a heck of a deal. :D
As far as I know you are the only person that has posted on this forum with a Reign.
Hope you hang around.
I have been thinking of a Sprinter, since my current BF fits tight in the driveway of our new house.

MOT is great to deal with. I ordered my new one thru them and purchased my last Foretravel thru them. They will be able to take care of you and Xtreme can fix any fiberglass issues if you get one.
