Re: Bumper wheels
I found replacements for the wheels on my 90 at Harbor Freight. I unbolted the old and bolted on the replacements. MY motor home used caster type wheels mounted on a steel plate with 4 mounting holes. Take in your old ones to match them up size wise. Mike

Re: Bumper wheels
After replacing the original casters , and they also failed, purchased a set from Albion Casters. They are still on the coach (about 10 Years). I also, about 4 years ago, removed the factory installed air bags and had my leaf springs re-arced and an additional leaf installed. This resulted in raising of the rear of the coach about 4". The net result was a nicer ride higher bumper clearance and far less impact on my casters. Also it eliminated the need to replace those pesky leaky air bags.

C'mon guys... there's no need to be modest... let's post photos of why you REALLY need new motorhome wheelie-bar casters...
Call 'em frame casters or bumper casters if you like... but WE know what you're REALLY doin' with 'em!!! <nudge, nudge, wink, wink>

I see LOTS of the Born Free Ford V-10s at the drag strip...
Of course, the stock Chevy 8.1 with the Allison trans is Bonneville Salt Flats land speed record material. Here's my 32RQ at Bonneville in the pits just prior to the run... and during the 280mph speed-record attempts...

In the "good ole days", one would say "I saw a picture of it, so it must be true". Not any more! But thanks for your use of photo shop, it elicited a chuckle.

Re: Bumper wheels
Thanks, Jim. I thought someone might enjoy them. I always leave stuff like this crudely done enough that it's an obvious Photoshop job... but it's always fun doing these kinds of things. They're quick and easy to do. I've been a commercial photographer since 1974. One of the most interesting things I've found is how photos were manipulated PRE-digital. Do a Google image search on "pre-photoshop image manipulation" and you'll find an amazing array of things you didn't think possible... among them, the Fairy Hoax photos...Jim Hofmann wrote:In the "good ole days", one would say "I saw a picture of it, so it must be true".
