Tire pressure monitoring system

Post by Mel Wilbur »

Anyone thinking of installing a tire pressure monitoring system should check the Tire Sentry system by Fleet Specialties Co. I recently installed a 10 unit system to check both the coach and our tow car. The system is quite user friendly in that the batteries (standard watch battery)for the sensors can easily be changed and the alarm points are also easily adjusted in case you change vehicles with different tire pressure requirements. The monitor, being a round unit, does require a mounting device. I opted to use a pillar mount (see picture) as I have also used one for my air lift system and find they work well. Dash mounts are also available. A good source for mounting systems is http://www.egauges.com/

The manufacturer http://www.tiresentry.com/ is offering for a limited time a discounted price to members of the Leap'n Lions club. However, if purchasing, you must obtain our authorization number (ID No.) from the club secretary or myself.

Fleet Specialties is now listed in the other vendor section of this forumn.
