I have a Mac.
I know... shift- command-3, to take a picture.
But when I go to "choose file on the BF site", no files on my laptop come up on the BF screen for me to choose from.
. What am I doing wrong? Thanks
PS...I use to know how to do this. But have a new iMac Air, and it doesn't work.

Look in the system Utilities folder and you will find an app called Screenshot. It will do all you need.
Looking for 2011 or newer RSB

When you take a screen shot on a Mac computer, it should automatically be saved on your desktop. The when you click on the Choose File button at the bottom of your post, just select that saved screen shot on your desktop in order to attach and show at as part of your post. Very easy to do using a Mac computer.

Re: How do I post a "screen Shot" on the Born Free Forum?
Does not work. I want to post a photo that I have saved on my desktop.
When click "Choose Files" nothing comes up. No list or anything.
Maybe its a privacy issue on my Mac?
Laker, where do I find systems utilities folder?

Steve,
When you click on Choose File button, does it not transfer to a view of your desktop so you can see your saved photo and click on it to choose it. It should. At least it does on both my Apple iMac desktop computer and my Apple MacBook Air laptop.

Goto System Preferences on your dock, then use Spotlight to search for Screenshot. Or, open you hard drive, open the Applications folder, scroll down to Utilities fold, launch Screenshot.stevek wrote:Does not work. I want to post a photo that I have saved on my desktop.

Re: How do I post a "screen Shot" on the Born Free Forum?
Still no luck. This is my 4th MacBook Air over the years.
The first 3 worked right out of the box; but not this one, regarding posting pictures on the BF Forum.
So I guess I am SOL
Thanks to everyone for helping me.

I changed my browser to FireFox. A local friend suggested it and it worked. So now I should be able to post pictures
