The Born Free Multi-bit Screwdriver

Post by bcope01 »

I'd like to get one of these. Unfortunately the factory no longer carries them. Does anyone know the manufacturer? I believe they were made in Canada, the bits in Taiwan.

Thanks, Bill

Born Free Multi-bit Screwdriver

Post by whemme »

Bill,

The combination screwdriver that Born Free always supplied in the past with their new coaches was made by a company in Canada called Picquic and the tool was called the Picquic SIXPACK. I guess I did not know that Born Free has discontinued supplying them.

Evidently the SIXPAC combination tool has been replaced by their very similiar model X-7 combination tool. I was able to locate a source for that tool (FireHawk Technology) at a cost of only $9.95 at the following website address: http://www.firehawktech.com/ProductDeta ... tCode=PQX7

Hope this helps

Given the perpetual problems with the cabinet hinges on our coach, we would not go on the road without the subject product ~~ it is small enough to use virtually anywhere in the coach, comes with a good selection of bits, great case, has a integral light, and holds a charge quite well ~~ We have also seen a similar version at Costco ~~

Received email from the folks at Picquic saying that the screwdrivers are also available at your local Frys electronics store.
