Do new models of the Ford E450 have to have the frame heated to do a front-end alignment?

A whole bunch of red flags just went up!!!!!!!!!! I don't know the answer, but I'm betting on my instinct that something here smells fishy. When you heat a frame you take the temper out of it, a bad thing to do to anything that is supposed to flex.
The pre 2008 models, use an eccentric that the ball joints are tied into for adjustment, you have to use a different eccentric if the adjustment of caster and camber is necessary. The toe-in adjustment is simple and requires no parts.
I plan to touch on alignments at the National Rally Technical siminar in June. George B
