trailer hook up

Post by johnrandolph »

today l attempted to hook up my trailer lights to my 2004 26RSB, but l found that there wasnt any wires attached to the 7 prong rv plug. It apears that it was never wired. Has anyone ever wired the hook up? ls there a harness that l can buy that just plugs in or is this something that is best done buy my local hitch shop. My wife will be towing her two horse trailer so it is important that the brakes work. thanks in advance

John, that should have been wired from the factory. Suggest you give Kim a call at the factory and see what he can do for you. It might be time for a roadtrip up to the Born Free dealer in Clermont.
