Book Reccomendation

Post by Dallas Baillio »

May I recommend the book TRAFFIC by Tom Vanderbilt. Subtitled "Why we drive the way we do (and what it says about us)" it is a really great read. You will learn some amazing facts about driving, road safety, driver behavior and many other bits of information that contradict conventional wisdom. For instance, did you know that the death rate for the two door Acura RSX is more than twice as high as the Toyota Corolla? Or, the hours immediately following the Super Bowl are the most dangerous time of the entire year to be on the road? This book is really a fun and interesting read. And for me, it may have helped improve my driving skills. At least now I sure notice the mistakes I make!
