This may not help anyone else, but I wonder about types of tires installed.

I tried the Michelin XPS tires and found (to me) they made a very harsh ride.
I pulled the tires and installed the standard Michelins and it made a large difference

The Michelin XPS Rib tire is a very expensive and heavy duty commercial grade tire with steel cords in the sidewalls. A harsh riding tire as a result but many people running them probably don't want to admit it after spending the money.

This tire is not considered to be an all season tire - Michelin recommends it for summer use only. Per the online reseller Tire Rack, the size LT225/75R16E has a current price of $227.00 each.

Well, I have to say that my 22 BFT was a softer ride than the 24 footer we have now. I did notice one thing though. While I was towing the Jeep for a bit the other day the ride improved alot. I wonder if towing a 3000 pound jeep four down helped smooth out the bumps but I have ridden that road many many times and it was much different this time.

I have also noticed a "smoothing" out of the ride when towing. Also a jeep. I think it damps the upward movement of the coach, which also damps the downward movement.

Just speculation.
