AC Thermostat

On an outing this weekend we experienced a problem with the AC thermostat. It will not cycle the compressor off when the demand is satisfied. No matter how low I set it, it kept running, eventually freezing up the coils.
Any ideas?

We had the same problem and solved it by taking the coach to a RV repair facility where they did a thorough cleaning of the AC unit. That solved the problem.

Try it with the fan set on medium.

I cleaned the filters, which weren't really clogged, set the blower on high, and the termostat cycled the compressor on and off as demanded. I hope the problem was a combination of extremely high humdity and too low fan speed.
