Storage space behind the entertainment center

Post by BornFree_n_Now »

Hans:

We installed clothes rods on both sides, which gives us more hanging storage.

Hans, we also use the space for large plastic bins filled with heavier clothes (or lighter clothes) when we are traveling through various climates. I also use the plastic bins in the overhead for maps, guide books, etc., cameras, binoculars. We also use the space for dirty laundry in a mesh bag!

We use the C/O entertainment cabinet much the same as Judy. Since we use a Travasak, we also store the "bagged" Travasak and the pillows in that area just over the seat.

In addition to plastic bins, we set up a free standing wire shelf to help "stack" some items so that we can retrieve only what we need, without pulling everything out.

It's an awkward space to get to, that's for sure. But we use a plastic folding step, that is stored collapsed flat, just inside the cabinet door. Purchased the folding step at Camping World. It comes in at least three colors and can hold up to 300 lbs.
